Itinerary
Pick-Up from Your Hotel in Reykjavík
Your day starts with a friendly pick-up from your hotel or nearest bus stop in Reykjavík between 8:00 and 8:30 AM. You’ll travel in a comfortable minibus with a small group, heading out on a scenic drive along Iceland’s beautiful south coast.

Skógafoss Waterfall
Your first stop is the mighty Skógafoss, one of the biggest waterfalls in Iceland. It drops 65 meters straight down, creating a powerful mist and sometimes even a rainbow on sunny days. You can walk close to the base or climb the stairs to see it from above.

Sólheimajökull Glacier Hike
Next, you’ll visit the glacier Sólheimajökull. After meeting your guide and putting on safety gear like crampons and a helmet, you’ll hike across the ice. You’ll see deep cracks, ice ridges, and learn how glaciers form. It’s a fun and safe adventure with amazing views.

Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach
After the hike, you’ll head to Reynisfjara, a famous black sand beach. The dark sand, powerful waves, and tall sea stacks make this place feel like something from another world. It’s one of the most popular and beautiful spots on the coast.

Seljalandsfoss Waterfall
Before heading back, you’ll visit Seljalandsfoss, a unique waterfall where you can walk behind the falling water. It’s not very tall, but it’s special because of the hidden path behind it—just be ready for a little spray!

Return to Reykjavík
After a full day of exploring, you’ll relax on the drive back to Reykjavík. Enjoy the countryside views along the way before being dropped off at your hotel or bus stop.

Yes, we offer pick-up and drop-off from most hotels and bus stops within Reykjavík. You’ll be picked up between 8:00 and 8:30 AM and returned at the end of the tour.
Do I need hiking experience for the glacier walk?
No prior hiking or glacier experience is needed. The glacier hike is beginner-friendly and led by a certified guide who will ensure your safety and comfort throughout.
What should I wear for the tour?
Wear warm outdoor clothing, waterproof layers, and sturdy hiking boots (required for the glacier). Don’t forget gloves, a hat, and a small backpack with essentials like water and snacks.
What if the weather is bad?
