Good to know
What should I wear for the glacier hike?
We recommend wearing warm, waterproof outdoor clothing, including a hat and gloves. Good hiking boots with ankle support are a must for safety and comfort on the ice. Layers are best, as Icelandic weather can change quickly.
Will I be picked up from my hotel?
Pick-up is included from most central accommodations or designated nearby stops in Reykjavík or Selfoss. If your hotel is in a restricted area, we’ll direct you to the closest meeting point within a short walking distance.
What is the minimum age to join the tour?
Participants must be at least 12 years old to join the glacier hike. This is due to safety regulations and the physical nature of walking on the ice.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Iceland’s weather can be unpredictable. If conditions are unsafe, we may need to change or cancel parts of the tour. Your safety is our top priority, and we’ll always try to offer the best possible alternative if plans change.
