Arrive at the Old Harbour in Reykjavík at least 30 minutes before departure to check in and sign the required safety waiver. You will be given warm overalls, goggles, and other necessary safety equipment before boarding the custom-made 12-seater RIB boat. Our expert guide and captain will provide a detailed safety briefing and ensure you’re comfortably seated in high-quality suspension seats.
Whales, Dolphins & Puffins · Duration: 1 Hour 30 Minutes
Begin your adventure by riding to one of the nearby islands to observe puffins, visible from late April to mid-August. After puffin watching, venture further into the open sea to search for whales, dolphins, and seabirds, with the RIB boat’s speed and design enhancing your chances of sightings. Common species include minke whales, humpback whales, white-beaked dolphins, and harbor porpoises, offering a unique and thrilling experience.
Return to the Old Harbour · Duration: 30 Minutes

Ans: While we cannot guarantee sightings, our expert guides and captains have a high success rate in locating and approaching various whale species. If no whales are spotted during your tour, you will receive a complimentary ticket for our Classic Whale Watching tour to try again.
Q: What happens if the weather is bad?
Ans: If sea conditions are deemed unsafe, tours may be canceled or rescheduled at the captain's discretion. In this case, you will be offered an alternative departure date or time or a full refund.
Q: Can pregnant individuals participate in the tour?
Ans: For safety reasons, pregnant individuals are not recommended to join the tour. Please consult with your doctor before booking if you have any concerns.

Ans: Participants must be at least 145 cm tall and comfortably fit in saddle-like seats on the RIB boat. Please ensure you meet these requirements before booking.
