Arrive at Laxnes Horse Farm by 9:30 AM for your tour, which starts at 10:00 AM. You'll be briefed and provided with all necessary riding gear, ensuring you're well-prepared and comfortable for the horseback riding adventure.
Horseback Riding Tour · Duration: 2 Hours
Begin your 2-hour horseback riding tour through the scenic Mosfell Valley. Experience the unique gait and gentle nature of the Icelandic horses as you traverse the stunning landscape. This ride offers an intimate connection with Iceland's natural beauty.
Transition and Lunch · Duration: 1.5 Hours
Drive to Thingvellir National Park, where you'll have time to enjoy lunch and explore. Walk around the park, soaking in its historical and geological significance. This break provides a perfect opportunity to relax and prepare for the snorkeling tour.
Check-in and Equipment Setup for Snorkeling · Duration: 15 Minutes
Arrive at Silfra 15 minutes before your tour begins to meet your guide and group. You will receive a dry suit, warm undersuit, and diving gear, with guidance on their use for your comfort. Change your gear in a heated van, with long underwear and thick socks recommended for extra warmth.
Safety Briefing and Information · Duration: 1 Hour
Your guide will provide a detailed safety briefing covering the significance of Silfra and its tectonic location. You will also learn about Thingvellir National Park's geological features and safe diving practices. This session includes final gear adjustments to ensure a secure and enjoyable dive.
Dive at Silfra · Duration: 5-Minute Walk + 30-45 Minutes Diving
Take a short 5-minute walk to the dive entry point. Dive for 30 to 45 minutes, exploring Silfra's underwater sections: the Silfra Hall, Silfra Cathedral, and Silfra Lagoon. Capture the unique experience of touching two continents underwater.
Warm-Up and Debrief · Duration: 15-20 Minutes
After your dive, warm up with hot cocoa and cookies. Chat with your guide about the dive, ask questions, and review photos from the tour. Reflect on your unique underwater adventure before concluding your tour.

- Have the Snorkeling Medical form signed by a doctor 60 years or older
- Sign the liability release form at the start of the snorkeling tour
- Be at minimum 150cm / maximum 200cm in height
- Be at minimum 45kg / maximum 120kg in weight
- Fit within the dry suit size chart
- Be at least 12 years old and at least 45 kg / 99 lbs
- Be comfortable in the water and able to swim
- Be physically fit
- Be ready to wear a sometimes tight and constricting dry suit

Ans: We recommend wearing comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and closed-toe shoes with a small heel. We also advise bringing layers in case of changing weather conditions.
Q: Is there a weight limit for the horseback riding portion of the tour?
Ans: Yes, for the safety of our horses, there is a weight limit of 120kg / 265 lbs. If you exceed this weight limit, please contact us to discuss alternative options before booking.
Q: What kind of equipment will be provided for the snorkeling portion of the tour?
Ans: We provide all necessary snorkeling gear, including a dry suit, warm undersuit, and diving equipment. You may also bring your own if you prefer.
Q: Are there any age restrictions for the snorkeling tour?
Ans: Yes, participants must be at least 16 years old and able to swim. Participants under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Q: Is it possible to take photos during the snorkeling tour?
Ans: Yes, you may bring a camera with you on the tour. However, please note that you are responsible for keeping it safe and dry during the dive. Our guides may also take photos and share them with you after the tour.
Q: What is the cancellation policy for this tour?
Ans: We have a flexible cancellation policy. You can cancel up to 24 hours before the tour for a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours will not be refunded.
