When you arrive at Litlaá River, you'll meet your DIVE.IS guide. The guide will provide a detailed briefing on the snorkeling tour and assist you in getting dressed in top-quality snorkeling dry suits and other gear. This ensures you're fully prepared and comfortable for the adventure ahead.
Snorkeling in Litlaá River · Duration: 30-45 Minutes
Enter the Litlaá River at the designated entry point and begin your snorkeling journey. You'll snorkel down the river and through the lagoon, enjoying approximately 30-45 minutes of underwater exploration. Marvel at the vibrant underwater world as you glide through crystal-clear waters.
Return and Refreshments · Duration: 15 Minutes
After your snorkeling tour, exit the river and return to the parking lot. Here, you can warm up with hot cocoa and cookies provided by your guide. This break allows you to relax and recount your snorkeling experience.
Drive to Húsavík · Duration: Varies
Next, you'll drive to Húsavík, where you'll visit the Geosea geothermal sea baths. This drive offers a scenic route to one of Iceland's most serene locations. Anticipate the soothing experience that awaits at the spa.

At Geosea, soak in the geothermal sea baths and take in breathtaking views. You can relax in the spa for as long as you wish, enjoying the therapeutic waters and stunning surroundings. This final activity perfectly complements the adventure, providing a serene and rejuvenating end to your tour.

- You must obtain a doctor's signature on the Snorkeling Medical form if you are age 60 or older.
- You must sign the liability release form at the start of the snorkeling tour.
- Must meet height requirements: Minimum 150cm / Maximum 200cm.
- Must meet weight requirements: Minimum 45kg / Maximum 120kg.
- It must fit within our dry suit size chart.
- Must be 12 years old and at least 45 kg / 99 lbs.
- Must be comfortable in water and able to swim.
- Must be physically fit.
- You must be ready to wear a tight and constricting dry suit.
- Must be able to communicate in English.

Ans: The water temperature in Silfra Fissure varies between 2-4°C (35-39°F) year-round. The geothermal sea baths at Geosea are kept at a comfortable temperature of around 38-40°C (100-104°F).
