After a short introduction, you’ll gear up with crampons, helmets, and harnesses. Your expert guide will give a quick safety briefing and explain how to use the equipment. Then you’ll board a minibus for a scenic ride to the edge of Falljökull glacier.
Reaching the Glacier and Start of the Hike
- Duration: 15–20 minutes
A gentle walk will lead you to the glacier’s base. Here, your guide will assist with putting on the crampons and give tips on walking on ice. As you step onto the glacier, you’ll start to see breathtaking landscapes unfold around you.
Glacier Exploration
